31, 2006 email this print this reprint or license this Flint awards cancer grant West Georgia group gets $5,000 for screening program BY HARRY FRANKLIN State Editor A $5,000 grant to the West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition to provide cancer-screening services in counties it serves has been awarded by the Flint Energies Foundation.

The foundation also has awarded a $2,995 grant to the Taylor County Commission to produce a book with a history theme about places of interest within the "Presidential Pathways" counties.
